A quick overview of HUMC
We offer one traditional and two contemporary worship services every Sunday.
Our contemporary services include upbeat music, practical teaching that connects to life, and an emphasis on the Arts (drama, cinema, performance).
The traditional service includes hymns and traditional music, a practical message, and quiet reflection.
People at HUMC wear clothing they are comfortable wearing.
HUMC has groups for people of all ages and with special needs. We offer a full nursery program, children's programs (Kid's Super Church), Youth Groups, as well as adult groups and classes.
HUMC has recovery ministries for those experiencing the pain of divorce or the grief of losing a loved one.
We offer classes on marriage, parenting, relationships, and life issues.
Communion is generally taken the 1st Sunday of each month; it is open to all who are seeking Christ and who intend to follow Him to the best of their ability. You need not be a member of HUMC or any other church to take Communion.
